Plan Your Next Golf Trip In Bangkok

Welcome to Golfers Abroad! I write real course reviews and honest travel tips for golfers planning a trip to Bangkok. Everything here comes from my experience playing these courses and places I have been and would personally recommend.

A golf guide for Bangkok, written by someone who actually plays here.

Two Kinds of Reviews on This Site

Every course on this site is marked one of two ways:

Played means I have actually teed off there, and I am giving you my own take.

Researched Guide means I haven’t played it yet, but I’ve checked everything and sourced it properly. You will always know which one you are reading.

Why Bangkok?

I live in Bangkok, so it made sense to start here. There are more courses around this city than most people realize, and I want to actually get through them properly before writing about anywhere else. Yes, Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai all have fantastic golf too, and I will get to them eventually. But for now I would rather go deep on one city than spread myself thin across five.

Part of the fun is finding the courses that do not get talked about much, the hidden gems mixed in with the well known names. And Bangkok is not just about the golf either. Between rounds there is incredible food, some of the best shopping in Southeast Asia, a genuinely great night life scene, and a fitness culture that keeps surprising me. It is a city that gives you a lot to do outside the round, which matters if you are planning a full trip and not just eighteen holes.
