Tipping is normal and greatly appreciated by the caddies.  A common tip range is ฿300–฿500 per round, with more for excellent service or premium venues.

Often it’s green fee only, and you pay caddie fee and cart fee separately. Always check what’s included when you book so you’re not surprised at checkout.

For comfort and smoother pace, early morning is best—especially in hot months. Afternoon rounds can be warmer and more weather-affected.

Yes! Many golfers still play, but be smart. Choose morning tee times, expect short showers, and keep your schedule flexible. Courses can be quieter and sometimes discounted.

If you’re playing multiple rounds in one area, then base yourself near the courses. It saves energy and avoids transfer headaches. Bangkok works well as a base if your golf plan is spread out or you want nightlife/shopping between rounds.
